Star Wars: Battlefront II, EA’s most recent installment in the Star Wars universe, was announced with high expectations. Trailers and promotional materials showed great promise and signs that EA had corrected their mistakes from their first Star Wars game. However, just before its release in late 2017, controversies regarding micro-transactions surfaced, almost derailing its success. EA attempted to rectify the situation, though the game never fully recovered.
Throughout this last year however, updates have brought more heroes and villains into the game. Iconic characters such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, and Count Dooku have joined the game in recent months. EA has now just revealed their newest addition to Battlefront II, the Chosen One himself, Anakin Skywalker.
"My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count."

This teaser, posted by @EAStarWars on Twitter, shows Anakin Skywalker facing off against Count Dooku. This clip gives fans of the game a glimpse of what to expect when The Chosen One drops next week. Anakin and Dooku fights should be a blast considering we’ve only seen very brief duels between them in the films, and if what DICE Design Director Dennis Brännvall says is true, expect Anakin to live up to ‘The Chosen One’ title.
There is legit concern within the team that Anakin is too OP, but damn does it feel great to play as him. pic.twitter.com/KGs0hROUdA
