It’s official. The Walt Disney Company’s purchase of 20th Century Fox is now officially complete. Their official website now reflects that with a banner that mixes established Disney IP and past Fox properties like The Simpsons and Avatar.
The final price was $71.3 Billion. Disney now owns the Fox entertainment division that includes 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, FX network, etc.
Fox News, the Fox channel, and the national Fox Sports channels will still be owned by the Fox Corporation.
The deal became official at 12:02 am ET on March 20.
Franchises like Avatar, X-Men, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Alien, Predator, Die Hard, etc. are all under the Disney umbrella now.

It’s clear that the Walt Disney Company has become the biggest juggernaut in the entertainment industry.
